Ivan Horning and his son Chris did a fabulous job designing, building and installing high quality custom cabinets for our new kitchen in our very old country cottage. Ivan was flexible and patient with us as we explored design options and considered his many valuable suggestions, including slide out pantry cabinet shelving, smart corner cabinet rollout shelves, spice and cutting board cabinets and more. Our "vintage" cottage is less than perfectly plumb and square and Ivan and Chris designed and installed the cabinets in clever ways to accommodate the realities of our space. Chis was masterful in crafting our island countertop from several rough-cut maple slabs that we provided from a tree removed from our property a couple years ago. The countertop is beautiful and the centerpiece of our kitchen. Our experience with Horning Woodworking has been excellent, friendly, pleasant and rewarding.
