Ice Cream, Baked Goods, & Other Dairy Products at Their Best…

The Farmer’s Creamery is Michigan’s new favorite dairy and farm kitchen destination. Owned and operated by local Amish in the Mio area, they offer a full range of dairy items from 100% grass-fed cows, without antibiotics and no added hormones.

Their in-store bakery offers fresh baked breads, pies, cookies, and sweet rolls. The full service deli features Walnut Creek meats and cheeses, with made-to-order breakfast & lunch sandwiches.

Shop their gourmet food shop for Tried & True Granola, Pure Michigan syrups & honey, and a wide selection of jams & preserves. Buy some gifts from the home décor and living space accessory nook.

We were very hungry and thirsty, and were absolutely delighted to find this lovely bakery by the side of the road.
“Cash only”.
The owner seemed to sense our disappointment and gave us our entire purchase for free.
I never thought I’d ever say something like this:
But may your God protect your home!

The spot to stop!
Lunch menu consists of grab'n'go sandwiches, generous portions of deli meat, chips, and a drink. Perhaps the most refreshing thing that sets it apart from a Kwik Trip or a Wawa is that the wonderful Amish staff is friendly and attentive. We'll be back again since the banana splits looked enticing! Just remember it is cash only; if you don't, there's an ATM inside.

Their salted caramel and moochachino milks are the very best for smoothies and adding a little creamy sweetness to my favorite teas. I love that it comes in returnable glass bottles ..reminds me of the milk I grew up with in the best ways.

Love stopping here for milk lemonade and cookies. Love the baked goods here. You can also order made to order sandwiches and eat then outside on the picnic tables or to go. They have recently moved things around as little. You can also get some snacks here

Still love this place for a special order sandwich. They even have soups.

Great for sweets and fresh bread. Must stop if you’re going by there. The Amish are great cooks. They now also do burgers and sandwiches made as requested. Prices went up but that’s everywhere now. Great ice cream too!

Beautifully stacked sandwiches and the song of an angel choir while shopping. Truly a wonderful experience. All the ladies there are so nice and helpful. I plan to visit as often as possible.
