Bennie's was open when no other hardware store in Versailles, MO was. The owner was very pleasant, knowledgeable, & helpful.

I recently bought a few hundred dollars worth of supplies at Benny’s. They were highly recommended by the folks at Martin metal nearby.
I needed to return a few items, so I checked the website and saw they would open at 7:00 (April 18). It is a 40 mile round-trip from my home.
I drove to the business to return a few items, and saw a sign on the door that said we are closed.

Obviously, as a business owner, one has the right to set their own hours. I consider it a strong responsibility to your consumer to correctly state those hours on your Website, to avoid scenarios like I ran into today. I did find Benny’s to be a very good store and as other people have reported the employees, very knowledgeable and helpful.

Wide selection of anything hardware, electrical, plumbing, outdoor tools, etc. Always worth checking here before heading to the city for something. Prices are very competitive, and the employees helpful. Also their hours are very accommodating. 7:00-5:30 every day, closed Sunday.
