Frequently Asked Questions

SITE PREPARATION: We recommend a level pad for your shelter, with about 4-6″ of limestone gravel as a base, covered with about 3-4″ of limestone screenings or “fines”. The pad should extend out about 2′ on all sides from the footprint of the shelter, and perhaps more in the front, where the livestock enters the shelter.

DELIVERY: $4.00 per loaded mile (mileage from shop to your site).

ANCHORING: If your shelter is exposed to wind, especially from the front, we highly recommend anchoring ay each corner. Larger shelters may require more anchors.

PERMITS: You are responsible for neighborhood covenants and building permits. Please consider your local building regulations before considering a purchase.
