Providing The Best in Storage Solutions…
Hometowne Structures of Platteville, WI is a one-stop destination for quality-built portable buildings and storage sheds that are both durable and attractive.
Jerry and Emery made this transaction simple and easy. First, it was less than 48 hours from the time we purchased to the time it was sitting in place in our yard. Emery maneuvered an obstacle course perfectly and dropped the shed exactly where we asked. We could not be happier. Great job!!
I have purchased 2 building from Hometown Structures and I am very satisfied with the construction of both of them. Jerry is super nice to work with and our last building was built 3 weeks sooner than anticipated. Delivery was flawless and very professional. He put the building right where it needed to go. I would recommend Hometown Structures to anyone looking for great looking sheds and storage buildings!
Working with Jerry was such a pleasant experience for us. From choosing the right shed for us, down to the ordering options and specifics, Jerry was professional every step of the way. Timeline was as promised and we had our shed installed on site due to yard access restrictions. Jerry and his crew built our shed with such expertise. Experiences shows! Thanks again Hometowne Structures for a job well done!
Jerry is wonderful to work with. Very accommodating. Did the upgrades I requested and the delivery gentleman is outstanding! These guys are so knowledgeable about the structures. Highly recommend this company.
This was my first experience buying something like this and they helped me all the way through. I’m grateful for the experience they gave me and highly recommend Hometowne Structures! Thank you for everything you’ve done and especially today with delivery!
We recently replaced our old shed with a new one from Hometowne Structures. The new one has 5-foot-wide doors with about a 4" increase in door opening height, so I could move my golf car inside the shed. Getting the changes in structure was quite easy, and Jerry was pleasant to work with.
I couldn't be happier. It's been about a month now, and I've been waiting to see what I might have discovered that was not apparent on initial inspection. Answer: nothing at all problematic! The golf car fits perfectly, and the shed is rock solid.
The delivery was done by Emery, who is a maestro with the mule they use to move it into place; it was situated properly and squarely on the gravel pad (see photo). The shed is built on treated 4x4s, and is far enough off the ground that nothing should be in ground contact, ever.
The quality of the build significantly surpasses our old shed. Whereas that shed used OSB for the walls and floor, the Hometown shed has actual plywood as the sheathing on the walls, and the floor is painted and/or treated with a coating that should help it outlast us. The old shed used OSB on the doors which started to rot; our new one has heavy-duty plastic doors that can never rot. What's more, those doors line up perfectly at the top. (See photo)
The threshold at the door has metal plate covering it; this will prevent that threshold from breaking down as I drive the golf car up and into the shed. I'm using landscaping patio blocks as a "ramp" up and into the shed; they're settling a tiny bit, but the shed is sitting rock solid.
Jerry did a great job with the shed matching the features of our home, both the siding and the small shutters flanking the window. It really looks nice!
All in all, it was about as painless as it could have been, with Hometown taking care of refreshing the gravel pad and getting the shed in place with a minimum of hassle.
Hopefully I don't need another one, but if I ever do, Hometowne is where I'm going to get it.
I'd give them 6 stars if the rating system allowed.
