Passed this several times while traveling back and forth or Rt. 222 and could never time it right. Today, was running ahead of schedule and stopped in, not expecting to pick anything up. What a great store. Lots of variety and makes for a good stop along your route. Picked up some chocolate whoppie pies and some of their chocolate krinkles that were both amazing.
Wonderful store with a nice variety of fresh foods, meats, sandwiches baked goods, ice cream, cheeses, jerky, gifts and more. They offer an indoor seating area as well. Wonderful variety of Amish hand made items. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Fair prices and quality items. Well worth a visit.
I stopped by for lunch the other day by accident as the downpour was so bad I pulled over and then decided to see what they had to offer. This is an awesome store. I ordered a deli sandwich and honestly not my style on getting a sub on soft bread. The sandwich was mid at best. The star was the peanut butter woopie pie. They had so many things I could have spent money on in the bakery.

Driving along Route 222 on a Saturday, I stumbled upon a delightful sight: a large sign announcing “Barbee Q chicken on Saturday.” Curiosity led me into a charming little market that truly warmed my heart. The vibrant displays of fresh fruits and vegetables were irresistible, and the aroma of freshly baked goods filled the air. I couldn't help but smile at the sight of the deli, where sandwiches are crafted just the way you like them.
I decided to treat myself and ordered a half chicken, along with two small pecan pies. Each bite was a revelation; it reminded me of home-cooked meals and the joy of sharing good food with loved ones. It was genuinely the best food I’ve enjoyed in a while, fresh and bursting with flavor.
If I didn't live 40 minutes away, I would have been back for seconds in a heartbeat. The prices were fair, making this little gem even more special. I wholeheartedly encourage you to visit this market; it’s an experience you won’t regret. You deserve to indulge in such goodness!

A great stop for local goodies! Not only can you get cookies and treats like that. But you can get subs, lunch meats and other goodies as well. Plus you can buy home decor and outside decorations and seasonal items as well! A great place to stop. If you haven’t been here before plan your trip accordingly!!
